Our research concentrates on methodology of acquisition, organization, compression, analysis, and visualization of georeferenced or geometric data in large scales. We put emphasis on methods of distributed computing, machine learning, image and text analysis, randomized data structures, high performance computing and quantum algorithms.

Main research interests include

  • science of geometric and spatial data (data science)
  • spatial machine learning, big data, and high performance computing
  • social network analysis,
  • context-aware and ubiquitous computing,
  • time series analysis and trajectory computing,
  • indoor location-based services.
